Leadership Basics

Past experience has shown that no team can ever achieve success without having to deal with conflicts. And conflict management is a skill which needs to be mastered by every leader.

A team consists of human beings who all have personal feelings, beliefs and varied potentials. A good leader needs to take all these into consideration

  1. Having been a leader, I agree with what has been said. But as long as conflicts are resolved through proper communication, no hostility will be nurtured.

  2. Different ideas do result into conflicts. A leader should have the ability to resolve conflicts and to think for the betterment of the team. Someone in the team has to step back in order to allow the team to move forward.

  3. I think that a workshop on 'Conflict Management' should be included in the syllabus of the next batch of CTI Plus.
